Mindera brings AI to life for Age UK London

Our UK Foundation helps major UK charity leverage AI for fundraising.

CEOs, fundraisers, and marketers from up to 24 independent charities across the Age UK London network converged at a special event recently in Mindera’s London office. It was the latest edition of the Mindera UK Foundation’s ‘Leveraging AI for Fundraising’ workshop and was dedicated to the UK’s leading charity for older people.

This exciting new partnership has been established to spread knowledge across the Age UK London network about how artificial intelligence (AI) can boost fundraising efforts, drive efficiencies and save costs. All essential at a time when charities are facing reduced funds, resources and support.

Mindera AI Services Lead Simao Belchior delivered a highly informative and practical session focused on the key areas in Age UK London where AI can make the biggest impact.

Challenging times

“This was a really informative, interesting and inspiring session for all of us from across the Age UK London network,” said attendee Dee Byrne, Marketing and Communications Officer at Age UK London. “Simão's ability to bring AI to life and relate it to our work was excellent. These are challenging times for our network and for all charities, so ensuring we stay ahead of the game and utilise all the skills and technology available to us is important.”

This collaboration also opens the door to future partnerships with other network organisations, such as the YMCA, King’s Trust, and more, that align more closely with Mindera UK Foundation’s mission to expand opportunities for NEET (not in employment, education, or training) youth by building digital skills and improving employment prospects.

“Charities play a vital role in society, and equipping them with the tools to harness AI effectively is crucial, helping them do more with less, reach more people, and drive lasting change for long-term sustainability and growth,” said Damien Reynolds, Mindera UK Foundation Lead.
