Mindera and ACFC

Los Angeles Angel City Football Club (ACFC) has officially announced Mindera as the club's Official Software Engineering Founding Partner to support digital transformation and empower tech learning in their local community. Something we are obviously over the moon about!

If you aren’t quite sure who ACFC are and what they stand for, we’ll give you a summary! ACFC is a member of the National Women’s Soccer League and was founded by Academy Award-winning actress and activist Natalie Portman, technology venture capitalist Kara Nortman, and media and gaming entrepreneur Julie Uhrman.

On the topic of our new partnership, Julie Uhrman, Co-Founder and President of ACFC, highlighted:

One of the factors in our decision to join forces with ACFC is the club’s groundbreaking sponsorship model, where 10 per cent of all sponsorships are reallocated back into the community. Together with ACFC, we will focus on introducing our awesome Mindera Tech Camp curriculum to the United States for the very first time.

Starting in 2024, our partnership will collaborate with select non-profit organisations to facilitate these tech camps, resonating with both of our commitments to bridging opportunity gaps and fostering talent.

Our agreement also includes comprehensive technology support of ACFC's platforms and resources, leveraging our technological prowess and the epic abilities of our diverse geeks.
