Since 2018, Mindera has supported families, associations, and vulnerable people through local initiatives in Portugal. Guided by our vision of a fair, inclusive society, we work to ensure access to quality education and growth opportunities beyond social and geographical barriers.
Our purpose is to support the tech community, fight exclusion, and promote digital and social inclusion through education and professional development.

Motherboard course
To empower women, this basic computing course hosts 10-15 participants and provides the essential tools and confidence to use modern technology.
Our Programmes
Mindera School
Mindera School, launched in 2018, is a 10-month programming course for employability. It prepares young people for immediate work and offers a monthly scholarship. The program includes 8 months of classroom training and 2 months shadowing Mindera teams. The curriculum is 90% software development and 10% soft skills, delivered by volunteer staff.
Kukula Mindera Mozambique
Since 2021, we’ve proudly supported Kukula in Macia, Mozambique—a class of 40 students receiving daily lessons from teachers funded by us. We cover all costs and now provide a full daily meal, often their only one. Next, we’ll train teachers and staff in Google tools to help students thrive.
Tech Camps
For children and teens in risk or exclusion, we run Winter and Summer camps combining robotics, electronics, and personal growth through teamwork, sports, and fun. These experiences spark curiosity for technology, creativity, and collaboration in a safe, playful environment.
Neurodiversity Project Internships
This project empowers neurodivergent youth to thrive as interns in a supportive work environment. They join areas like testing, multimedia, programming, animation, and operations, guided by Minders who mentor them with support from a specialized psychologist.
Team buildings
Created for our teams, this program goes beyond traditional team-building. While fostering cohesion and collaboration, we also engage in social causes—like volunteering or space rehabilitation—showing that together, we can strengthen bonds while making a real difference in our community.
Digital skills for women
This basic computing course for women builds confidence and digital skills for new job opportunities. Participants learn tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and how to create email and social media accounts, plus essential online safety tips for navigating today’s digital world.OUR IMPACT SO FAR
Mindera School: Employability Success
Mindera School strengthens tech employability through its intensive programme. Across 7 editions, 64 young adults trained, 50 graduated, and 22 were hired by Mindera as New Minders—proving its success in developing market-ready talent.
